Scenarist hangs/freezes

Hey guys. I got a small problem here. Everytime I click on "New from Script" scenarist disappears, my cpu % goes to 99 and stays that way. Even though I just go to new and import it does the same. Happens to both 2.6 and 2.7. I know it works fine on my system cause I had it up and running a couple months ago on 2.6 and made a couple good backups.
Winxp Sp1 AMD 2500+ xp
512mb Epox 8rda+ Nforce 2

Have you tried reinstalling Scenarist? There might be a problem with the copy protection.

I tried re-installing about 3 times already, with no luck.

This may have something to do with ASPI.

Uninstall nForce IDE driver and install standard IDE controller driver. Don't know why but Scenarist is unable to get along with nForce IDE drivers.

I had the same problem and never could've think of a possible solution removing the nforce IDE driver...
