This may be a little out of topic. But has any one has any icons for Real? I am currently using the old style real media icons which is deep blue with the word "real" in the middle. And i think they are pretty ugly....

You can use my icon collection, which also includes icons for RM/RMM/RV/RMVB/RA ...further it includes a lot of other icons for the most important (multimedia)-extensions, too.

Here is a screenshot:

(copy and paste the link address in a new fresh browser window,...Geocities doesn't allow Direct linking)

Download: icon-collection-v05 (http://www.reprehensible.net/~orulz/icon-collection-v05.zip)

For associating, read the "read me" file...if you use ZP you can easily associate the icons...but you can associate the icons easily through the explorer,too.

There is an idea behind this collection:

* red for containers:AVI/MKV/OGM/MOV/QT/XVID/DIVX/MP4/MPG/MPEG/WM/WMV/DAT/FLI/FLC/RM/RMM/RV/RVMB/PSS/IVF/VP6/SWF
* blue for Audio:MP3/OGG/AC3/WAV/CDA/MP2/WMA/DTS/MPA/AAC/MKA/RA/SND/AU/MIDI/AIFF/APE
* grey for "indefinite" extensions like D2V/AVS/GRF/IDF
* Green for playlists: ZPL/WPL/M3U/B4S
* violet for DVD/Mpeg2 related ext. IFO/VOB/TS/M2V
* turquoise: streamimg files:ASF/ASX/PART/PLS
* Yellow for subtitle icons: SRT/SUB/SSA/ASS/SMI/USF/MKS

Those are really nice icons. Very clever idea.

Two things that might be missing are MKA (audio only) and MKS (subtitle only). I don't know if these warrant their own icons or not though.

@Pamel

MKV/MKA/MKS are seperate icons and are already inside my icon-collection (they are also listed in my first post (last paragraph) and these 3 Matroska related icons are also shown in the screenshot. :)
