Is there a program that can play DVD files I have
backed up to my hard drive ? I want to test to make
sure they work before I burn them to a DVD..
Thanks

WinDVD can do it... Just open "DVD form Hard Drive" - that`s all...
Media Player Classic also can do it, but it still need WinDVD installed...

Media player classic has its own built-in MPEG2 decoder, so nothing else is needed to play DVDs.
