Here in Germany we have two digital tv providers which like to terrorise viewers by switching frequently (even in the middle of a movie) between mono and stereo. After demuxing these streams I end up with a correct video stream and an audio stream which switches between one and two channels. Neither oggenc nor lame can handle such streams properly. Can Besweet do it. More specificly I would like to have simple batch files which converts such alternating streams to mono vbr ogg vorbis or mono vbr mp3 streams.
