Merry X-Mas and a Happy new Beta (and year).

I'm hoping this beta will represent the final beta in the 3.30 tree as I want the new simplified interfaces to be finalized.

There's a few new features such as the new Flash Playback code (not 100%, but pretty good, sort of like QuickTime playback, but maybe a bit more stable).

Changes since v3.30 beta 2:

* Zoom Player now has limited capability Flash (*.swf) playback
capability. You must have Flash previously installed for this to
work and playback isn't as flexible as standard media playback
(make sure to reset the video file extensions
under "Options / Values / Extensions" if you want the
SWF extension to be listed properly).

* Support for WinDVD v5.3 Audio/Video Processing profiles for
Customized DVD Mode.

* New Settings (Options / Values / Interface) allowing you
to disable the save/load of last position for Audio Files.

* New Settings (Options / OSD / Navigators) allowing you to
disable the scroll acceleration.

* New Settings (Options / Filter Control / Settings) allowing you
to determine whether Zoom Player will try to use the ActiveX
control or DirectShow to play Macromedia Flash files.

+ Slight redesign of the Customized DVD Add Filter dialog.

+ DVD Definition files can now modify registry entires before
the DVD Graph is constructed, allowing you to change filter
properties (which are saved in the registry) on a per-disc
basis.

+ Zoom Player will now properly highlight subtitles that contain
a language string (MyMovie.Eng.sub for MyMovie.avi). And will
also automatically add DirectVobSub in customized mode if such
subtitle files exist.

- Playing Incomplete ASF/WMV files could freeze the player when
pausing the video.

- Updated to work with QuickTime v6.5. You MUST have QuickTime
v6.5 or newer installed for QuickTime to play properly.

- Zoom Player would not open a new file when already running
and a 3rd party application (such as explorer) opened a new
media file. This bug appeared only in the last beta.

- Girder export should now work with Zoom Player even if it's
minimized (as long as it's not only minimized to the system
tray as girder doesn't seem capable of finding Zoom Player
there).

- Should now be able to open Ripped DVD Images from unicode paths.

- Couldn't read ID3v2 from certain MP3 files with unicode naming.

- Files with NO ID3 data should now have their unicode name appear
properly on the ID3 display.

Nice... THX again Blight !!! :)

ZoomPlayer is my favorite video player, I really love it, but one little thing I still miss...

Could ZoomPlayer have the ability to use Winamp DSP plugins ???

There are tons of very good DSP plugins for Winamp out there !!!

Some of them can really improve audio quality damn much... :D

So, having this implemented in ZoomPlayer would be fu*kn great !!!

Bye

You can do that by installing one of the DSP filters that enable that function. ZP has internal code for this actually, but it's not enabled in this version as it's not fully tested...
