Subj!

How can i enable Dolby Headphones post-processing (DLLs fron WinDVD Platinum) when playing DivX+AC3 files in Media Player Classic? This plug-in makes listening 5.1 sound on headphones much better, but WinDVD don`t support dual-audio AVI-files  ! I make a 2-CD rip with dual-AC3 sound - MPC play it nice but can`t manage AC3-decoding options (use SRS-sound, Dolby Headphones etc)...

I think i must manipulate with DolbyHph.dll and/or DolbyHph.ll - may be regsrv32 them or something else...

Thanks in advance!

No, not really... :(

Just wanted to force your request !!! ;)

But as I use other players too (like Zoom Player), I wish it would be integrated in the AC3 Filter... :D

Heh... Ok!

P.S. May be we can write a letter to MPC proggramers or something?

I have found something - take a look at this...

Go to "Option -> Filters -> Overrides", then click on "Add Filter" and find InterVideo Downmix DMO, double-click on it and you find this -

That`s what we are looking for... But this shit don`t work for AC3-files - i can`t hear any difference  ... Or may be i do something in the wrong way...

If you don`t have InterVideo WinDVD player installed (with DolbyHeadphones support) - you don`t find this filter....

It's integrated in CyberLink AC3 decoder.

No need to override with CyberLynk one, you simply install the program and let MPC use the CyberLynk filter to decode AC3. Then in the configuration of the filter you can enable Dolby Headphone.

Anyway, I can't say if there is any difference at all in the sound quality.

Oh! I got it... Thanks!

P.S. I have Audigy 2, and in EAX console i have CMSS 3D. CMSS 2 makes the same effect as InterVideo AC3 decoder do :) - VERY nice sound on headphones...

This seems to work. I compared the sound to ordinary playback using mplayer and there is some difference (improvement).

Just for clarification, in MPC, double click the "CyberLink Audio Decoder (PDVD7)" entry after you have added it to get to the options. Right?
