Hi, i've read some threads about this conversion but the more I read I get more confused.Does anyone have propper AVIsynth script for this.The clip that I'm working on is PAL DV-AVI.
Any help would be appreciated.TNX.

If your source is 4:3 and you convert to 16:9 you get a distorted image. Maybe you refer to a 16:9-720x576 PAL-DV (or NTSC-DV). It's a 720x576 with 1.422 pixel aspect ratio (16:9), so if you open it with MPlayer (for ex) you get a distorted 4:3 aspect. You can correct it by filtering with avisynth : LanczosResize(720,404). NOTE: you can do this only if your camcoder allow you to register in 16:9 PAL
