Hi guys
I use Subtitle Workshop
There is 2 questions.
1 - This software says that he can output Scenarist file (.SST)
It can. But there is a problem. When I export a .SSt file , I see every subtitles re typed near the time code. This is a Sample file that exported by subtitle Workshop :
st_format 2
Display_Start non_forced
TV_Type PAL
Tape_Type NON_DROP
Pixel_Area (2 576)
Display_Area (0 2 719 574)
Color (9 3 4 3)
Contrast (15 15 15 0)
E2 (0 0 255 ===)
E1 (255 0 0 ===)
PA (0 0 0 ===)
BG (255 255 255 ===)
Directory C:\Temp\Subs\
#####################################################
SP_NUMBER START END FILE_NAME
1 00:00:10:17 00:00:12:96 There is a long time
2 00:00:12:96 00:00:16:44 we are living here.
3 00:00:16:98 00:00:18:45 But There was a picture.
4 00:00:18:59 00:00:22:63 This picture.
5 00:00:25:98 00:00:27:98 I am Sherman.

Now , as we now , under file name , must be the name of the BMP files , not the exact text of subtitle.
So what I should to do ?
(I don't want to export it as another format and then convert that to sst.)

2 - When I am working with this software , the preview , is now fine. I mean , when I rewind and want to play , everytime I must wait about 10 secs. Is there anyway to solve this? also tell me what kind of cards is very good for preview in this software ?

Thanks in advance

1- You should output to SSA and use MaestroSBT to generate the BMPs. Subtitle Workshop does not support rendering yet.

2- That depends mostly on the decoder you use, and the speed of your processor.
