Hi DSPGuru,
Again I'm in fear whether this has been already told before. :D
I read supereq method of using equalizer in BeSweet. Thanks.
Then i found, foobar is also using same supereq, but here I think (Not sure) eq file has somwhat changed in file structure and file extension is *feq. Therefore i could not load it in Oagmachine.
So can BeSweet/Bsn/Oagmachine/Besweet GUI could be changed to these eq files ?
Which is my humble feature request.:) Thanks.
Btw, one more advantage I found is that foobar supports most audio fomats and hence integrating its equalizer (actually supereq) in BeSweet would be easy to use.
Thanks.

IIRC the Super Eq function is actually done by shibatch.dll not by Besweet itself. What does the .feq format look like? (post a sample?) Are there any advantages or features that can't be done with the current implementation?

Actually I don't know is there any change in file format. I just asked if there is then can *.feq be implemented.
Here is what i got with *.feq 13
12
11
10
9
8
7
6
5
5
6
7
9
11
13
14
16
18
No there is no difficulty in using current implementation except using Winamp. In Foobar its is the default/integrated equalizer. More than that foobar supports ac3/APE/WAVE/AAC/Mp4/mp3/mp3Pro/etc etc all together and no need of extra plugins. And Its easier to decide different settings in foobar than in supereq in winamp.

Hi,
Ok I tested each equalizer presets in both foobar / Super EQ in winAmp.
Foobar accepts *.eq files (Original super Eq files) when renamed to *.feq.
Winamp/super Eq did not accept *.feq(original foobar Eq files) when renamed to *.eq.
And again file structure is different:
*.feq:
13
12
11
10
9
8
7
6
5
5
6
7
9
11
13
14
16
18
*.eq:
37 20 27 32 36 40 44 48 49 48 44 39 36 31 25 20 15 12 9 37 20 27 32 36 40 44 48 49 48 44 39 36 31 25 20 15 12 9
DSPGuru, now I think this is a feature request.;)
Btw, Winamp is going to be commercial and foobar will be always a freeware. So better to use freeware. This is another view of feature request.
<Edit>
about no : of nos in these files. 19 vs 38(*feq vs *eq)
I think foobar integrates two channels in single file as 18 frequency bands with out preamplifying preset.
while in supereq, these presets are about 38no's summing 2(L&R) preamp+2x18 individual bands for each channel. So disadvantage using foobar will be no individual channel manupulation. (I think its never used for music, movie audios)
Thanks.

supereq will always be freeware, and i won't have the time to support alternative file formats. ".eq" is good enough imho. sorry :o.

Okay DSPGuru. But if you ever get time please look into adding foobar eqs.
:thanks:
