with latest 07.12.2003 version of CoreAAC (http://homepage.ntlworld.com/jfe1205/) (link is from HA forum) it's possible now to
activate the "downmix to 2 channels".

And the downmix works but:
the change from 6-->2 isn't adapted immediately. I have to stop & play again the file...after that the switch is done and 6-->2 is shown in the propertiy info and the downmix sounds correcty.

The same occurs if I want to deactivate the "downmix to
2 channels" option.

It would be nice if the switch would be on the fly like
the 3ivxDecoder Filter.

I hope that somebody is here who can change & improve this...([Toff]? )

hmmm you misunderstanded me, I was just saying that it's the normal behaviour currently, and in the configuration box you should read next to the check box "Need reload" :o

Ok, I understand...

so it's a feature request for future versions of CoreAAC. :)

It would be enough if the downmix change is immediatley done after pushing the "downmix to 2 channels" box on or off.
So you don't need an extra button for the changing.
(look the 3ivX Decoder...then you know what I mean)

Thanks in advance!
