This doesn't exactly deal with encoding... If there's a better place for it let me know.
Anyway I was wanting to re-edit a tv movie just for fun, so I downloaded a copy from the net. I openned it in Premiere and low and behold it couldn't open the audio stream for some reason (which was Mp3 encoded). So I popped it into VirtualDub, and saved it as a wav. I open the file in premiere and discover that the length is not the same as the video. Unfortunately Premiere cannot make a precise enough speed change to fix the problem. Is there a third party program that can accurately change the wav length?
