A MPEG4 capable standalone player!

I agree, ffdshow is definitely the best for my mpeg4 content. Less cpu intensive and easy to install and decode all. No need for all of them on a box just used to playing video and not encoding. Like my mom's PC. Though, for divx3 content, I still use it's own decoder. I like it's post processing and it seems to do a better job at decoding divx3 than ffdshow.

Originally, I had problems with ffdshow (Early development.), but now, I love it and recommend it to my friends who tend to not know about what codecs to install. (Don't you just love newbies?) That's the main problem with codec packs, they put a whole bunch of shit into one package that makes it unstable and forks everything over.
