When I press "Backup" or "Files" I get a dialog box that says "Wrong blocksize!". Can anyone tell me what to do to fix this? Thanks!

Strange...so I assume your Movie button works? Then what do you see in your Source window when you press it. Does you see your movie's angle and chapters/cells detected and checked?
Also, have you been playing with your Settings?
Biggest advice I could give you is to download DVD Decrypter 3.1.7.0. Smartripper 2.41 has been around a long time without much needed updates/features. They're both free so what do you have to lose?

Let me clarify something, when I press those 2, Files/Backup, I see waht I'm supposed to but it is when I press "Start" that I get the error. I think my setting are unchanged. I'm thinking about removing & re-installing the program.

I'm thinking about removing & re-installing the program. That changes the whole story. You didn't mention about the Start part yet but anyway, I hope re-installing fixes your problem. Also, keep your options open and look into DVD Decrypter when you have a problem DVD down the road.

That's why I was using SmartRipper. Decrypter was stoping at 99% when ripping this particular DVD5 in ISO mode.

So you had a problem with DVD Decrypter too well then you should've appropriately wrote your thread title as "Can't rip my DVD". If both are giving you problems, there could be a possibility that there could be something wrong with your DVD. DVD DEcrypter does have something that SmartRipper doesn't and it's a log file. Just look into View/Log. Maybe LIGHTNING UK! could decipher it if you post it.

Yeah, just tell me the error you're getting.
BTW, just because ISO mode fails, that doesnt mean File mode will.
Both mode read different areas of the disc.
ISO mode reads the entire thing from start to finish, File mode just reads the files.
