so so.... where do I begin...
well first of, the movie is on a DVD5 format.
I wanted to add a foreign subtitle.. I finally manage to do so and the output of the movie was fine... but but, there was apparently a trailer in the same VTS file as the move was.....
so my question is.... how do I get this trailer in the same VTS title set so it will be recognized by the menu.
Could it be as simple as multiplexing it along with the movie file just like that using ifoedit or what?

Of course this is very simple. If you know the correct structure of the original ifo you put things back together.
My guess :
movie: pgc1
trailer: pgc2
so when reauthoring you create two pgcs and put in the video as it should be.

thanks for the reply
I assume this can´t be done in Ifo edit? only lets me select 1 movie file

well I still would like to know which program I can use, and I rather not use those advanced authoring progs which lets you do pretty everthing .. I just need to miltiplex back together 2 video files in 2 different PGC´s
Ifo edit doesn´t seem to be able to do this

Don't know I only use advanced tools

hmm is that so :p
and with those advanced tools you use... can one of them multiplex 2 different m2v files into one titleset with different PGC numbers?.. and to even let the menu recognize the second PGC?

I guess no one feels like helping with this minor problem which anyone good into DVD authoring should know about..... or they are just having a vaccation now :p

I´m into something similar...I want to put a new sub into a movie,
and reauthor, but my case, I have two pgc´s in the main movie vts, and almost all audio and sub files are in both pgc´s along with the main movie m2v file, guess someone know which movie I´m talking about?
Yes, its LOTR-FOTR extended.
My guess, I have to put dummy audio/sub and m2v for duplicate files into pgc2 when reauthoring?
Anyway, any advise whould be very appreciated...
