help with maiking menus with DVD-lab

I am really having a problem that is making me pull my hair out. When I make any menus with dvd-lab the menu will not display properly with my dvd player. The movies will play fine, but the root menus are very distorted.

It works fine on my PC.

Any syggestions? Or recommendations for different software that will allow you to make your own menus and author the dvd for you like dvd-lab. Great program other than this issue I am having.

Quite strange..., i done several dvd with dvd-lab and i never get stuck in problem. Have you applied a background image or motion menu to root menu ? Remember that background image must be 720*480 24bit png format.

Maybe that is the problem, I was using a background of my satellite tv rips 544 x 480. However, even the template menus that come with dvd lab do the same thing.

just try with 720*480, as in dvdlab manual.
