View Full Version : Failing at initialization - CPU problem?

I've tried several times to encode different streams with CCE 2.50, but as soon as I click "Encode" an error requester pops up (after opening the Transcoding window):

"cce_encoding_init() failed: unknown error"

When I click "OK", another one pops up:

"vinfo_open() failed: *** Could not open the file <F<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/ohwell.gif ALT=":\"> filename.vaf> ***
The system cannot find the file specified."

[Windows error code: 0x2 2]"

There's nothing wrong with the source stream (I use VirtualDub as frameserver, and MediaPlayer plays it just fine). My CPU is an AMD K6-III @ 500 MHz. Maybe CCE doesn't support this?

CCE settings:

- Audio file disabled.
- Multipass VBR, 3 passes (default advanced settings, since
CCE crashes when I click this button).
- Bitrate: avg: 2000, min: 500, max: 2500.
- Quality: Anti noise filter disabled.
- Everything else: default.

Any help much appreciated!
