Hi, I apologize most humbly if I missed the answer to this somewhere.

I have been backing up my DVDs for some time now, but I don't know how to go about doing this. I want to rip a DVD as normal, but I want to cut out a single scene so I can drop it into a folder and when I have about four gigs of scenes from various movies, burn them all to disc. Can anyone recommend the easiest app for doing this, and maybe a good tutorial?

Thanks in advance.

Chopper XP (http://www.doom9.org/Soft21/Vobtools/chopperxp.zip)

This program is pretty straight forward, you select the begining of the scene and then you select the end of the scene. Then you just save and it will create an nice VOB for you with just the selected scene.

DVD SHRINK can also do this and is a little easier to use than Chopper
