I`ve tried to create a copy of a NTSC movie with english subtitles.
Made new dutch subtitles synchronized to the english one.
When a try to make a new movie with dvd maestro the subtitles are all out of synch.
even the english ones which i`ve ripped with suprip.
This method worked for me with Pal dvd`s but with a NTSC source maestro seems to have a problem.
Used sub2stl and subtitle workshop but both programs gave the same problem.
any one a clue?

Had same problem. I don't know why this happens, but you can correct it with Subtitle Workshop.
First find out how much delay (+/-) in seconds there is (usualy subs are longer around 4-8 sec.). Correct error in Subtitle Workshop. Save subs as stl and use them again in Maestro.
It seems that Maestro move around subs when they are imported.

This is a problem with your assets, not a Maestro problem. You have a timecode mismatch. You either have a drop-frame .m2v on the timeline in Maestro and are importing an .stl file with non-drop-frame timecodes, or vice versa.

Change the timecode format of either the .m2v (reencode) or the .stl and they will sync properly.

Thanks for hint. I didn't look for that option for subs, until now. I'll try that.
