Subtitles help

Hello folks.

Have anybody here the knowledge, howto add permanent subtitles
to an existig divx? I'am not sure if it bossible to do that,
but it would be nice to know.

I had recently purchase an standalone DVD player with DivX suport
(philips 737). The player works good with all formats I test.
If there is one solution to this subtitles problem,
I will live the rest of my life in unbounded happiness ;)

Can you confirm if this player supports the MP4 container. I suspect not!

Your suspect is corect. The player Philips737 is very
simple without any exotic funktion.
However it play formats who is not mention in manual,
like Xvid and DVD-audio.
