View Full Version : MPC isn't loading DirectVobSub with OGM files.

For some odd reason, DirectVobSub isn't loading when I open OGM files anymore. I don't know what I did, but it isn't loading. It'll load with external subtitle files (srt/sub/ssa), but not the internal ones. I can set it to "always load", but I rather not have that load with files that don't have soft subs. Can someone tell me why it's no longer loading and if I can fix it or maybe is there a way to reset MPC to default settings. (Considering there's no installer, just an exe file you open.)

And since I'm here on MPC, is there a way to set a preset, like zoomplayer, to fix overscan on video card out as well as how do I fix aspect ratio? I rather like MPC on the fact that it'll auto load the subtitles and the correct audio track. (IE, jap audio, eng subs) I've tried looking for an aspect ratio corrector, but can't seem to find it. (That, or I'm blind.) If I can get these two features, I would convert to it, since it handles OGM/MKV files well. As it is, I'm extracting the srt file to auto load in zoom player.

In MPC -> Options, Filters, Built-in filters, uncheck Ogg Splitter.

Or, check always load in VobSub.

Oh! Thanks, that worked. So this is something new in MPC? I don't remember checking that ever, but I have updated MPC recently. I thought I did something wrong to my directshow... but it couldn't be, because it works in other players. (Though, subtitles don't autoload and the audio doesn't default to the right audio.)
