Does the film industry get proceeds from rentals made by Blockbuster?
If not, why doesn't the MPAA sue movie rental companies for sharing? Not only are they sharing, they are making a profit at it.

They are contractually licenced to do.

Besides, who do you think owns Blockbuster? Viacom, who also owns Paramount Pictures, UPN, TNN, CBS, CMT, TVLand, VH1, MTV, Showtime, King World (Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune), TNN, BET, and others. They are part of the MPAA.
