Hi, I have encode a AVI file to a 352x480 MPEG2 movie
then I have used str2sup to make a SUP file from a SRT file. (but this program only have the option of 720x480 NTSC)

when I author with ifoedit, the subtitles' position are wrong and I can only see the left half of the subtitles, the right half where cutted. I think this is because the sup file asume a 720x480 video

How can I fix this? do I need another subtitles program insted of str2sup?

thanks

How did you verify that subs are wrong? I experienced sth similar, even with the DVD supplement of "DVD demystified" - however with software players only. On the standalones I tested it was OK.

I did my test with PowerDVD. With the results in my PC I got fustrated, so I didn't test in my Topset.
I'll make the test.

thanks
