I have 2 movies in HD, then DVD2AVI gets to a certain place (minutes:seconds) on them , it stops, then crashes (closes) without any message.
How can I fix the problem ?

As far as I know, DVD2AVI requires VOB set sources to be unencrypted, single-angle, single program chain.
VOBs with multiple PGCs or multiple angles may be the problem. If you are using an ifo parsing ripper, be sure you are using ifo parsing during your rip, and selecting a single angle of a single PGC.
For example:
If you are using DVD Decrypter, be sure it is in IFO mode. If you are using SmartRipper, be sure it is in MOVIE mode. Both applications will select Angle 1 of the longest PGC by default.
If this is not your problem, try re-ripping.
