View Full Version : Question About Play All Function In DVD Lab

I've followed maa's guide (http://www.photosyndikat.de/guides/more/PlayAll.html) to making a multi-clip DVD using DVD-Lab. I can get it to work exactly as intended, however, when trying to change it slightly, I can't get it to work. I've searched for an answer (and learned a lot of other stuff) but haven't found anything to help.

I would like to have the DVD immediately start playing the first title when "Play All" is activated. Although I like the idea of it going back to the main menu and being able to select which clip to start from, I found it a little confusing at first. Clicking "Play All" and having it play everything from the beginning seems more intuitive to me, and since I'm making these discs for friends, that's what I'm looking for.

I've tried a lot of things, but I can't seem to get it right. I'm not an IFOEdit veteran (but I'm not afraid of it anymore) so I'm sure there's an easy solution that I'm just not aware of.

Thanks,
Jason

i am a newbye with dvdlab but could be simplier that you link the end of movies to another menu with a "continue button" with forced selection on next movie and a timeout of 0.1 seconds.

OLD > 2.Pre Command (LinkPGCN) Link PGC 1 [20 04 00 00 00 00 00 01]
NEW > 2.Pre Command (JumpVTS_TT) Jump to Title: 1 [30 03 00 00 00 01 00 00]

Right click,change,save, and test. ;)

BHH Better yet, you could link all the movies to jump to a episode/chapter selection menu and pick whatever you want to play next. :D The continue button on this menu will probably have a (link subset) NOP command to resume playback.

Thanks maa, 2COOL and everybody. That's exactly what I wanted to do. It seems so simple now that I know, but I guess that's what learning is all about :).
