I am a newbie, and recently became very interested in video editing. I am currently in the process of making dvd comliant mpeg1 and mpeg2 conversions. i would like to make conversions with little to no quality loss. I am using tmpgenc plus and tmpgenc dvd author. And furthermore can someone explain breifly,
What do i need to know about:
Interlaced/FrameRate/Resolution/Filters
What are some important things to know about source files?
What should i change, and what should i leave alone?
Can TMPGenc encode an AVI source file with MP3 audio to a mpeg with AC3, PCM, or mpeg layer II.
Also, can TMPGenc Plus encode DIVX, XVID, 3VIX, and MP4 source files into mpeg 1 and mpeg 2 with AC3, PCM or MP2 audio files
And Lastly is TMPGenc the best application for video and overall quality enhancements?
