I have a problem with CCE crashing at the very end of (the last) pass 3 when encoding an avi, raising two exceptions of the kind "The instruction at 0x... referenced memory at 0x.... The memory could not be written".
The very strange thing is, with the excactly same setup the problem exists on my notebook only (Pentium 4, 2.60 GHz), not on my stationary PC (Pentium III, 899 MHz).
I tested actually copying the 'dvd2svcd project file.d2s' and 'DVD2SVCD.INI' from PC to Notebook, changing only path names, and used a crash recovery to be sure of identical setups.
* Both CCE 2.50 and CCE 2.67 will crash
* It happens with AviSynth 2.0 and 2.5.
* I tested with an xvid as well as a Div3 encoded avi.
DVD2SVCD (1.2.1 build 3) doesn't hang, but the encoded mpg is 'blue in the face' on the notebook.
Everything is perfect on the PC.
Can anybodey explain this weird thing?
