Hi,
I have a Xvid file that is slightly oversized (740 mb). I was wondering, how can I cut off the end credits? Could someone give me some detailed instructions? I'm quite a newbie at this.
Thanks.

make sure "Direct Stream Copy" is selected for audio and video
since you want to remove the END of the file you don't have to care about keyframes

If it's 40 megs oversized, I doubt that cutting the credits will help unless you encoded the credits at the same bitrate as your movie. Your best bet if that doesn't work, is to try and burn it as an XCD. Just be extra careful with that CD, because if you scratch it, it's done for.
