My player doesn't play svcd-help.

Hello.

I have a standalone vcd player. I used the program...Dvd2svcd to convert a dvd into vcd(selected vcd as the output). However i am getting an output file which is a mpeg 2 format. This i think is a svcd. I would like a vcd as svcd dont work on my vcd player.

Please help.

Take a look at this thread http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=42406 it may help you out. I have never needed to convert to VCD with D2S so am not sure...

Not very helpful, for which I do apologise, but forum rules state that the title of a thread should be indicative of your problem. It helps other users when the thread comes up in search results.

In a forum principally concerned with people posting DVD2SVCD problems, your title doesn't really fit the bill. You may wish to edit it.
