I am trying to Author a DVD with content that was originally in 23.9fps in vcd format.
Here is what I have done.
1) Used SVCD2DVDMPG to demux and sort out the sound, leaving me with two output files ending in m1v and mpa (i think, maybe in mp2)
2)Used Pulldown from DVDLab to sort out the fps.
3)Used TMPGEnc DVD author to author the DVD using the new video(from pulldown) ES file and the audio ES file from svcd2dvdmpg.
This works great in general apart from when I have to use pulldown to sort out the fps I get no sound from it. i.e. I have various bits of content that I want to put on the DVD some in 23.9fps and some in 29.9fps. Content originally in 29.9fps works fine.
When authoring the TMPGenc DVD author I didn't remain the pulldown filenames so that the audio and video names matched. This meant that Tmpgenc dvd author prompted me for an audio file which obviously I selected - surely it is not as simple as the filename needing to be the same.
Thanks
