Hi!

In my last rip , (dvd source) to svcd (2cds) , i have a very good quality (4passes) but some parts of movie show pixelated (green)
Its only a moment 3 or 4 times ..., but iŽd make a lot of rips and this never happen to me,

Any Clue? Thanks in advance

Did you play the cue/bin files on your PC before you burnt them, and did this pixelation happen then? If not I would say it is a problem when burning or maybe scratches or imperfections on the CD's you were using.

Might be worth checking this out first before blaming the encoding

Hope this helps

in 99% of these cases it's either bad cdr media or you've burned the discs too fast..I never go above 8x.

I too had some green "artifacts" on an svcd back up of my Saving Private Ryan dvd. Turns out it was not bad media, but Nero. I was using Nero 5x to burn my bin/cue files. I tried it twice with Nero to rule out the media, but had the green "artifacts" both times. On the third try, i used Alcohol 120% to burn the bin/cue, and it played perfectly. All three times (twice with Nero, once with Alcohol 120%) i burned at 32x (max)with Imation 48x cd-r disks. Hope this helps.
