OK, i done a test encode on a extra feature from a dvd by resizing it down to 352x576, ive authored it using ifoedit author. So now i have the vobs ,ive updated vts sectors.
What i would like to know is how can i burn these files to a cdr so my player will reconise the disc. The files are only 310mb.Ive tryed burning the files the same way as i would a dvdr but i get a wrong disc format error come up on my player.I also tryed that minidvd thing in nero(dont have much of a idea of what minidvd is, i can only guess), i get the same error.

So how can i burn these files so they work ???

ps, im not wasting a dvdr for 310mb and my player does'nt read dvd-rw as ive already tryed.

There's no way, short of replacing your player with one that can play mini-DVD.

Most players, your's included, do a media check before they do a content check. The player sees that it's CD media and branchs to firmware routines to see if it's CDDA, [SVCD], [VCD], [MP3] or whatever. The CD media content checking routines don't inlcude a check for DVD content, so your player will never be able to play mini-DVD.

Just cave in and burn it to DVDR. Saving $1.20 just isn't worth the hassle, unless you'r doing similar tiny DVDs dozens of times, in which case you should replace your player. The player compatibility list at DVDRHelp.com will tell you what players support mini-DVD.
