Hello,
What is the best way to burn a DVD if I only have got the .ifo and the vobfiles? Total is less than 4gb. No reg. Code and No encryption. Smartripper was used to get the main movie.
Can I use the guide "DVD9 to 5 with ifo edit" 2nd page (Final adjustments for DVD -> DVD-R/W rip)?
I guess I have to rebuild the .ifo file.
Thanks for any help.

Or if only the VIDEO_TS.IFO is missing you can use DVDFab to create it.
(DVDShrink will open a vts_01_0.ifo and output a complete DVD structure and purely opening a VIDEO_TS.IFO with it is a good test)

The files I have are:
vts_02_0.ifo
vts_02_1.vob
vts_02_2.vob
vts_02_3.vob
vts_02_4.vob

OK, DragonFist, great.
I believe that the answer to your original question is "yes." I don't have that guide memorized, but I have a general feel for it. You need to create a "Video Manager." That will look like "VIDEO_TS.IFO" in a folder. You need this to be able to burn and play your DVD. IFO Edit, if you have V.95 or later, will do this for you. In V0.96, select DVD Author and you will see "Create VIDEO_TS.IFO." Click on that and follow the directions. I believe that V0.95 has a button on the bottom of the screen for this.
With your current situation I would recommend opening the vts_02_0.ifo file and "Get VTS Sectors" before you start--if you haven't already done this. After you create your video manager, "Get VTS Sectors" again, close IFO Edit, re-open it again, select your new VIDEO_TS.IFO and click on "Play DVD." This will tell you whether or not you are "ready to burn."
You can also create the video manager in DVD Fab, as maa suggested. Either way I think this will get you to where you want to go.

Just an update how things went.
I tried DVDfab - It only crashed in Windows 2000 so I skipped that one. :)
What I did in ifoedit 0.96 was that I created new ifo's and put them in new folder. I then moved the vob's there and renamed them (their name was vts_02_1-4.vob) to vts_01_1-4.vob. Then I did the "Get VTS Sectors". After that i checked the film DVD Play and it worked so I just burned a DVD-Video in Nero. The film start directly without a menu or something but its OK for me.
Thanks for the support guys...
