Hi!

Just one thing that has bugged me from the start with this otherwise excellent piece of software.

When I start playback of ANY .avi file, with any king od sound (divxX, Xvid, mp3, ac3), the playback of the movie stutters, which is obvious in panning scenes. When you let it run for a while, it settles down, and when you rewind then, it goes OK the second time. But close zoom player (and of the last 10 versions or more) and play again, and it will stutter.

But if playing the same in mpayer2 or mpclassic, all is fine. Is there a chance for a fix mr Blight, please, please!!!

Greetings from Croatia, Domy

There is no way this is directly related to Zoom Player code. It's quite possible it's somehow related to either the Video Renderer or some 3rd party filter on your system.

To check if it's the video renderer, go to the Options / Filter Control section and set the video renderer to the system default (this is what mplayer2 and possibly mpc uses by default).

Personally, I'd recommend using VMR9 if you're on an NVIDIA card and using the 43.45 drivers (latest stable drivers for video).

If it's a 3rd party filter, then I can't venture a guess as to which one it is.
