View Full Version : Remove a single chapter from Disk

Hi all. I have been lurking on the forum for a few months and am getting the simple bits of DVD Decryptor, MenueEdit (Reg) and IFOEdit. Have had some success using these applications and I congratulate all involved in their production.
But it seems every time I go to back up my next DVD, I need to learn a new procedure,... wow you should see the ream of guides I have printed out from this group (Thanks 2COOL).
However I can't seem to do the following, which I figure should be easy,... maybe I'm thick,.. so I am asking for a bit of guidance.

I have a DVD called "Buzz and Poppy" which belongs to my 4 year old. But it contains one short story that I consider much to SCARY for him to watch,.. so I am trying to back up the disk, without THAT story, but in all other respects, leave the disk as was.

There are only two titles on the disk and they are split into 5 chapters each.... each chapter starts a new story. I thought I'd try MenuEdit to cripple the buttons to that story... sure it works, but it doesn't stop you simply using the remote chapter skip to get to that story WITHOUT accessing the Menus.
If it was a matter of removing a whole title I could do it,.. but I am having trouble getting my head around just removing one chapter (Title 2 Chapter 4)

Dare I ask, if there is an easy way to do this.

Cheers
Red.

@Red

You can get better real time help sometimes if you enable "Private Messaging" and "Pop up a box when you receive a Private Message?" in your Edit options in user cp. ;) There's a way to do it but it won't be quick and easy. PM me when if you have them enabled.
