I downloaded some .SRT subs and wanted to mux it with an avi using AVIMux 1.15.2, but when I play nor VSFilter or DVobSub find the subs.

I tried converting the subs to .ssa, remuxing audio, etc, etc, etc, but nothing. The AVI is DivX 5 (DX50) with CBR MP3.

Any idea?

Are you muxing the subtitles into the avi? i din't know it was possible. Any way, check in vsfilter properties that it always "load when needed" and "externa"l and "embdebbed" are ebable.

Open the muxed file in Virtual Dub Mod.Then go to stream->streamlist.If you can see the subs stream, then defenitely subs have got muxed, otherwise not.If it is not seen, then mux SRT subtitles to avi using VDM.
Hope this helps you....
