Hi guys,

I recently encoded the DVD "Diner" using the Big 3. The 2nd VTS, which also contains the main movie PGC, has two short PGC's of the same length that use the same VOB ID. I unchecked one in DIF4U, ran through the whole process, and eventually imported the script into Scenarist. In the layout, I copied the track from PGC 7 over onto PGC 4, so both use the same video & audio. I've done this a number of times before.

I ran IFOUpdate, but when I try to watch the DVD, PGC 4, 7, and 5, I believe, all try to use English Audio Track 1, which is incorrect. They should be playing English Audio Track 4, which is what all the extra features use as their audio. Track 1 is only used in that VTS for the main movie PGC.

I probably made the whole story more complicated than it needs to be. My question is: Using Scenarist or IfoEdit or whatever, how do I change the default audio track of a PGC? In my above examble, I can hear the correct audio if I switch it in the DVD player, but I want them to play the correct track automatically.

Thanks.

Read the last couple paragraphs of that guide. This is a pretty common problem and very easy to fix using IFOEdit.

Thanks so much. That did the trick. I've only ever used the Big 3 guides and I hadn't thought to look there.
