I'm looking at some capture cards with TV tuner at Newegg.com, and this are the top options I picked up after reading some of its specs.
- TV LEADTEK WINFAST "DELUXE" TV2000XP TV/FM MULTIMEDIA CARD
- AVerMedia UltraTV PCI 300 MODEL MULTRAP30
- Compro VideoMate TV Gold Plus PCI TV Tuner Card
- Hauppauge WinTV-dbx (WINTV401) Tuner with FM
- Yuan PCI MPEG2 Hardware Encoder card plus TV-tuner MPG600 PCI TV
- Hauppauge WinTV-PVR 250 Model# 980 PCI TV Tuner Card
Now, considering that I want to capture from cable, VCR and camcorders, and the final destination would be DVD (for VHS conversion) and DivX (for TV shows), which of this would you choose?
Also, should I really care about the hardware MPEG2? I have an Athlon XP 1700+, 512 RAM, and 200GB HD, and I want to encode at full resolution.
