I would like to use some of the beautiful clean("aquarium-mode") motion menus from the menu-vob of the Finding Nemo dvd.Just superimposing my own text and buttons over these menus. Is there some program that could accomplish this?

DVDlab - although the text will be based on Substream pictures and a little rough on the edges.

If you have a video editor it looks better if you make the text with that and use dvdlab for the highlighting (underlines, arrows, whatever you like).

You can also use MPEG2VCR. Just make your text on a plain BLACK background and then in MPEG2VCR,

load your video clip,
then load your text screen using the 'insert effect' for a 'color keying title image',
record the new clip and the text will be overlaid nicely on the video (without the jagged of using the subpicture approach).
