Is this possible? Sorry if there are threads answering this but Ive looked a fair bit and considering I figured out everything else myself I must be pretty stuck to ask this.

So yeah I spent a long time encoding a file and it is at the perfect filesize but for some reason virtualdubmod would crash when I tried to burn the .sub or ifo file onto the avi.edit answer I realized this is because I did not have the vobsub files installed (i never selected them) but the installer will not let me install into virtualdubmod in the gknott folder it says "invalid dir".

Any advice on what course of action I should take?

PS Ive loaded my sub and ifx files competed by robot2rip into bs player and the subtitles wouldnt display. Is my sub file bad? .edit answer bsplayer does not support vobsub created files mplayer now handles them but I would really like to create permanent subtitles on the avi file if possible...
