I did some searching and found a case where there was no language track to select at all, but it's not the case here.
I'm ripping the Initial D Volume 1 Anime DVD from Tokyopop that I bought from http://www.deepdiscountdvd.com/
I got the audio and video fine but when I open the ifo with vobsub in Virtualdub or Nandub, it shows the english track so I select Ok and I click okay and it does the indexing and everything. Then when it's done all the options are not detected, so no matter what I pick nothing shows up, it seems to be losing the subtitle track. Any ideas?
