View Full Version : Mysterious m2v file created with VOB-ID demux with DIF4U - An error?

Alright, I'm demuxing one of my projects through VOB-ID.

According to the IFO file for the VTS I'm demuxing, there is only ONE VOB-ID. However, when I used DIF4U 1.3.3 beta to demux it (with DVD Decrypter 3.1.7.0 and DVD2AVI 1.76.1.5), I got a strange m2v file labeled as "VTS__01_V313-no-cce.4~3_1".

I'm wondering. What exactly am I going to do with the m2v when it comes time for me to go to Scenarist? There's nothing in the IFO that tells me where it goes.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

And here is the IFO file, as well as the DIF4U log, in case they're needed:

Hmm that's really weird! Is the M2V a duplicate of VTS 1 VOBID 1?

It's not a duplicate of VTS 1 VOBID 1. It's only 61 kb in size, and when I played it, it appears to be a single-frame video file... and it looks like something from the menu.

I know the information I'm supplying is vague and not very helpful, but I'm still somewhat new to this.

Sounds like that second M2V is actually your VOBID 1/22, but I can't be sure. In which case, discard it. But I'd really like to fix my app to not do this. Email me if you want, and I'll try to figure out how this happened.

I also had a vobid mysteriously showing up on spirited away. Really strange no reference in the ifo, but when demuxing it just showed up.
