Well i had never tried Numenu yet ..so i thought i'll give it a spin with Saving private Ryan Pal R2 ..it works great ....its starts up it does all it has to do .....then after that DoItFast4U even starts up ...everything works fine ..untill you are totally done with the project ..and you move the new made vobs by scenarist into the folder where the numenu files and the rest of the files are. So what i did after that was to simply use ifoupdate on the ifo file ....and when i tried to play it it automatically went to the menu and simply got stuck..it juts freezes up.......whats strange is that in the original DVD ...the movie just starts ..it does not jump directly to the menu ..so I am guessing..that Numenu rewrote something in the ifo files ..or ifoupdate does not update it correctly or something.....Now it just jumps to the menu whereas it should jump to the movie ..and when you press menu ..then it should jump to the menu .......Anyways any ideas on how to tackle this ...Numenu is really great ..i got a 500mb file down to 250 mb ..and my bits for the main movie went up from 2800 to 3120 ..heheh so thats really good considering that SPR needs alot of bits ..anyways I would really like to fix this thing ???
Greetzz...

check your video_ts.ifo (both original and reauthored one). Go to vmgm_mat and first play PGC. Compare both jumps.

something is different otherwise both would start with the movie. You might be right menuedit messed up the ifo somewhere but that will be tough to find.
Maybe trying the new version will solve this for you.

...menuedit messed up the ifo...
Wow! Sounds cool - no released versions of MenuEdit touch ifo files. You must be living ahead of normal time :) as you have something I have not released (actually have not finished yet).

This might seem a stupid question, but you did run ifoupdate on the ifo created by NuMenu4u and the scenarist one, and not the original. Also note that the last 2 releases have had an ifo compilation error, now fixed.

well I used the latest numenu (Final) ..and the latest beta of doitfast4u ..I simply selected the numenu integration so that numenu woudl start up ..and in the final product I only ran ifoupdate of the scenarist ifo ....but not on the video_ts.ifo......should I have run an ifoupdate on the video_ts.ifo...???....

no video_ts.ifo should not be updated. if you try ifoupdate will complain anyway.
