I recently copied a movie using DVD Shrink, and burned it to DVD+RW media which I have been using successfully for quite some time. After ripping, I created the VIDEO_TS and empty AUDIO_TS folders, and placed all the .BUP, .IFO, VOB and other files in the VIDEO_TS folder, just as I have done on 20 or so successful rips in the past. This DVD plays the video fine, but there is no sound. The sound is built in to the .VOB files, correct? So how could there be no sound? I no longer have the DVD that I copied, so I cannot try it again to see if I can reproduce it. Is there any way to fix it?

If you open the movie from your DVD+RW disc in DVD Shrink again, check if there is a audiostream at all and what format it is!

I made backups of a few movies encoded in MPEG-I stream witch my standalone DVD Player isn't capable of playing, giving me the result of movie playing correct but no audio.
