SRT subtitle format specification wanted

Hi,
I'm looking for full specification of SRT format. Usable HTML tags, player/subtitler to test SRT files, etc...

Don't forget the HTML extensions... currently almost all subtitle displayers support <i>, <b>, & <u> tags in SRT subs.
