Scenarist New->Story in the TRACK window

I can not find any information in help or anywhere.
Do somebody know something about this function?
In my scenarist NEW STORY is inactive.

There are a couple things in scenarist that'll be greyed out for most.In the track editor you won't be able to click on the new track button either.I think some of these things have to to with the fact that you need an expensive encoding card that will let you combine things together and then encode.Maybe.

NEW STORY has to do with seamless branching which up to version 2.7 wasn't implemented. I don't know though for version 3, but i guess not, otherwise they would announce it.

Isn't it stupid to put grayed functions to emphasize the software limitation?
