virtualdub-virtualvcr no sound

Hi everybody,

I am trying to capture TV programs with Virtualdub (and virtualvcr) but cannot capture sound (Hercules sound card).
In both softwares, I cannot open a window with a tick box "audio input line-in".
With Power VCR provided with my capture card, everything works except an awful AV synch problem, that's why I want to use one of these 2 free softs, which have an excellent reputation.



Dos anyone has an idea on this topic ?

You need to communicate with your soundcard controls, in most cases. For example, by double-clicking on the speaker icon on the taskbar. Then, you typically need to click on a pull down menu to get to "Recording" features, where you can choose between "Mic-in" and "Line-in."
