Can this card only capture audio from a TV signal in momo? I can't find that info on leadtek's site.
Cheers:p

I have the WinFast TV 2000 XP Deluxe. I have only been using it a short while. The sound to my understanding is handled by the sound card. :D

Thanks bigjohnson (it's odd calling someone I've never met "bigjohnson")
I think the sound replication is handled by the sound card, but the capturing is done by the leadtek card it’s self. Sound replication for other media files is fine and in stereo, so thought it was something to do with the capture card as I’d heard that some capture cards only capture audio from a TV in mono.

xs-1, you are probably right. I may check to be sure by extracting the audio in maybe CEP and take a look at it.

I just installed the card this weekend and the tv tuner on the card does capture in stereo. I demuxed the resulting mpeg file in dvd2avi and it reported it as 2 channel stereo. Then I ran the sound file through besweet to upsample it to 48khz and loaded it into dvd meastro and it also reported 2ch stereo.
