Hello guys,
I am experiencing some problems when I try to play any DivX or XVid video in full screen on Windows 2003...
When I try to play anything in full screen, the video starts to get jagged, and with slower motion. I tried to play the files with many different players, but the problem persists.
Has any of you ever experienced this problem and know what I can do to solve it?
I have a Geforce 2 MX200 video card with 64 MB, which the operating system recognizes properly.
Thank you in advance!

On Windows server 2003, graphic acceleration is disabled by default.
I know it's possible to enable it, but i dont know how,
try a google search.
try this link:

Hi,
I have a problem sounds very near to this one: using Windows 2003 Server and WinDVD or PowerDVD, the player plays the very first minute of an DVD very fast - hten switches to normal speed. But while the video is running, the speed is shifted several times to very fast and then back to normal - but I do not do anything like that...
Very sad, because with that I can not use it to view dvds... I tried to uninstall wmp9 but the problem stays the same...
I have just enabled hardware acceleration, installed directx9 and turned on hardware acceleration win powerdvd, too. Of course i use actual detonator-drivers.
Can anyone help me?
Thanks in advance,
Elian

Have you tried to copy the DVD to the HD to see if the problem persists?

Yes I did - both ways the same problem.
As i found more people in many fores that were able to view dvd with Windows 2003, I think the problem is with my drivers... can only be via 4in1, Nvidia or Creative... maybe I try the good old via latency patch...
Thanks,
Elian

Hi,
I tried at next the built-in-support for dvd with wmp9 - and had no problem. Everything went fine...
So I think the problem must come from either PowerDVD or the Media Player.
I use PowerDVD 5 and will try to use the former version.
Although I tried to uninstall the WMP9 it did not work (as i was able to see dvd with it after) - so please can you tell me how to remove the WMP exactly?
I tried to run a command "RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection C:\WINDOWS\INF\wmp.inf,Uninstall" which I have from another forum, but that did not work properly.
