There are many reasons why the layout could fail. You'll have to be a bit morespecific than that. Select the text in the message window and post it in here. That would be very helpful.

I have a lot of warning message and one in error. It says
Error Track(VTS_07_PGC_01) Sub-Picture stream 1 does't have Sub-Picture data.
Error Track(VTS_07_PGC_02) Sub-Picture stream 1 does't have Sub-Picture data.

that's what i'm also asking for, i can't select and copy.

You can just highlight the text in the staus window to the left. ctrl-C and in your post ctrl-V ??

@El Plouf:No subpicture data means empty subpicture track.

i think i have identify the problem

it's a problem of "duration" and "start time" for sub
when i edit the file of my sub (nameofsub.sst), i notice that the time of the sub doesn't match with the time of the part of the film: in fact sub time is > than film time; so it s the problem

but it s very strange because all is do automatiquely by doitf4u

i 'll try to correct this with my litle hand.

The dvd is peter pan pal r2

and the problem is localised in bonus track on vts 7 and 9
vts 7 PGC1 and 2
vts 9 PGC 23
at this places, i have two cellid for each PGC. but i think it not the cause of the problem because i have the same thing on other pgc and it is ok.

for information, i dont use vobid demux in doit4f4u so i dont know if it is the cause of my pb

an another thing:

when i delete the sub file and remplace it by a dummy file, scenarist is ok to process. There is no error at all.

So i think the problem is coming from doitf4u (or i make a bad configuration of the software). Due tu a small video stream, perhaps a good demux of sub is not possible

hi el plouf

maybe you should have post your own post about your problem because i think it will be difficult for the people answering not to confuse between my problem and yours.
well it's done anyway

I've experienced this a couple of times this is what I do.

Part 1 (make sure they have the same amount of subtitle streams):
If you click the 'Track Editor' tab and then the VTS_01_PGC_02 you'll most likely see that it has less subtitle tracks then VTS_01_PGC_01. I usually just copy a subtitle track from another PGC (preferable an empty subtitle ;)

Rightclick the subtitle you want to copy and choose copy then go to VTS_01_PGC_02 and right click underneath the last subtitle and choose paste.

Part 2 (edit subtitle streams):
When done press the 'Scenario Editor' tab and find VTS01_Title02 and press the grey box under it that has PGC written on it (and VTS_02_PGC_02pgc written under it). Now you should have some info in the 'Property Browser' (lower middle "window" of Scenarist). Doubleclick 'Subpicture Attribute'. Doubleclick all of the 'PGC Sub-Picture Attr #' and make sure they look the same as they are for PGC01

In your case it seems you'll have to add alot of subpictures (2-7) or atleast modify their settings. Good Luck
