OK.. here's the steps
1- create VIDEO_TS folder with Scenarist
2- burn VIDEO_TS folder with Prassi PrimoDVD (packed with the drive)
Disc plays perfectly in WinDVD, perfectly in DVD Player
3- make ISO with ImgTools (both the the current and previous build)
4- mount ISO with DaemonTools, plays perfectly in WinDVD
5- unmount, burn ISO with DVDDecrypter
Disc plays perfectly in WinDVD
Disc CRASHES when selecting any item from the menu when played in DVD Player!
"the plot thickens"
6- BEFORE MAKING ISO, run the ORIGINAL CREATED VIDEO_TS thru IFOEdit and do a Get_VTS Sectors... it DOES correct several errors (???).
7- make ISO with IMGTools (again using both versions)
8- mount ISO with DaemonTools, plays perfectly in WinDVD
9- unmount, burn ISP with DVDDecrypter
Disc plays perfectly in WinDVD, PERFECTLY IN DVD PLAYER
WTF????
NOTE 1: if I run IFOEdit/GET_VTS sectors on the BURNED DISC from step 2, it want's to correct the SAME ERRORS that I found in step 6 (??)
NOTE 2: pulling an ISO made back in the beginning from the disc burned with Prassi and then burning the ISO back (both operations) with DVDDecrypter makes a proper playable disc)
Would I be amiss in pointing the fickle finger of fate at ImgTools as the problem, or does anyone have any thoughts on what the heck is happening????
